3 Free programs for graphic design

On many occasions when starting to work as freelance designers we find that we do not have enough money to buy all the programs that we would need to work "legally" or the number of licenses to be able to install the programs on all the computers that will be spent in a design agency with several workers.

But thanks to the "altruistic" developers and great communities that support and update the free programs offered on the web, we find quick solutions to these problems.

Currently, there are several programs to graphic design totally free that have as much quality and options as the paid ones, that are continually updated and improved and that, with a little patience, we can learn to use and use them in our companies without any cost.

Among them we find substitutes for the best known:

  • Graphic design and photo retouching: Instead of using Photoshop, we can use GIMP
  • Vector Design: Instead of Illustrator, we can use Inkscape
  • Design 3D: Instead of 3D Max or Maya we can use Blender

These three programs are free and in terms of results they are as good as the paid programs
