The San Sebastián de los Reyes City Council, through its Municipal Libraries, announces the XXVI edition of Children's Drawing Contest 'Letter to the Three Wise Men', a now classic quote that reinforces creativity and the bond with reading among the youngest children.
They will be able to participate girls and boys between 3 and 14 years old with a drawing in DIN-A4 format that reflects the magic of the Three Wise Men and booksintegrating tradition and imagination around these dates.
Deadlines and submission method
The works will be delivered from November 24 to December 12 at any of the municipal libraries in San Sebastián de los Reyes, during their regular opening hours.
Each work must be submitted in DIN-A4 size and include the participant's essential information on the back: name, age, address, telephone number and educational center in order to identify it correctly.

Jury decision and awards ceremony
The winning drawing will be announced on Friday, December 19th, at 18:00 PM, In Marcos Ana Library, during a festive event open to families.
The celebration will include the family show “The great night of the Three Kings”, by Entucole Puppets and Stories, to liven up the awards ceremony and share the excitement before the arrival of Their Majesties from the East.
The winning work will be Official illustration of the “Letter to the Three Wise Men” which the City Council will use in municipal activities next year.
Awards and acknowledgements
The first prize will consist of a diploma and a set of books appropriate to the age of the winner, thus reinforcing the connection between drawing and reading.
In addition, the following will be selected nine finalist drawings who will receive a diploma and a book. The organization reserves the right to award special mentions, and the participating works may be exhibited for public viewing.
The winning works will become part of the Libraries section archive and the City Council may use them in future municipal publications, with express mention of their authorship.
