Imagination and creativity at a very young age overflows any young kid. They will not have the technique that they will surely treasure when they are a little older, but those ideas that arise from their little heads are very striking. It is the proposal of this artist who has drawn 300 monsters during 2 years based on the drawings of hundreds of little ones.
Aaron Zenz has been inviting young kids in Michigan in the United States, to send them monster designs. He has had more than 17.000 drawings, of which he has been drawing more than 300. Some of those that you can see below and many others from the website that he has active for this artistic project.
Zenz has taken the time to look carefully at each of the drawings that has come to him in these two years to select a few and put all your technique in the drawing at the service of the creative minds of the little ones.
And the truth that the result is very striking to find all kinds of bombastic, funny, curious, original and very nice monsters. The drawings that Zenz has made have been drawn with colored pencils, with precisely the same technique that he usually uses to illustrate books.
The collection of drawings can be seen at ArtPrize 2018 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. A bit far, but it will be available for 19 days so that anyone can visit it and thus admire both the creative ideas of hundreds of kids and the talent of this artist.
