Valencia unveiled its proposal for the Fallas festival at the Centre del Carme Cultura Contemporà nia, a presentation promoted by the city council and the Central Fallas Board. The event emphasized the role of this [the festival/the festival/the Fallas ... official graphic image as a calling card inside and outside the city.
The commission, chosen from 22 applicationsIt bears the signature of Valencian designer Vicent Ramón and is embodied in a series of three complementary posters which operate both independently and jointly, aligned with UNESCO's recognition of the Fallas as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

The debut took place at the Carmen Center for Contemporary Culture, with the presence of the Valencia City Council and the Central Fallas Board, entities that have promoted the project as public image of the next festival edition.
The Fallera Mayor of Valencia attended, Carmen Prades, the Fallera Mayor Infantil, Marta Mercader, and their courts of honor, along with the Fallas councilor and president of JCF, Santiago BallesterTheir interventions highlighted the care taken in the design and its role as a "window" of the Fallas festival to tourism and the public.
During the event, the author expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him and described the project as a challenge to which he has dedicated himself fully, with the aim of capturing the cultural and festive essence from Valencia in physical and digital formats. In his words, he emphasized the care of design as a bridge between tradition and new creative practices.
The three posters and the pillars of UNESCO

The campaign structures its visual narrative around three main themes: traditions, living cultural heritage y creativity and artsThe same principles that justified the UNESCO seal. A palette linked to the predominant style. Royal Senyera —red, yellow and blue—, accompanied by black and white to reinforce the contrast, with special attention to the linked palette in visual communication.
The first scene evokes the collective experience of the festival throughout the city, linking the solemnity of the Offering with the intensity of the Nit del Focwhere music, gunpowder, and traditional clothing come together.
The second piece integrates the tabal and dolçaina music with the figure of the Valencian woman, enveloped by the symbolic fire that enlivens the Fallas atmosphere and underscores the popular character of the celebration. This sonic intention was also conceived by seeking references in Instructions for generating images that would accompany the audiovisual campaign.
The third one pays homage to Fallas artistto the color that floods the streets and to the cycle of purifying fire that renews the spirit of the festival every March, conveying the idea of ​​creation, combustion and rebirth through graphic resources and techniques of creative manipulation.
Taken together, the series encapsulates what the author associates with the Fallas festival: Fireworks, music, tradition and craftsBut also ninots, flowers, falleras and falleros, and a shared feeling that identifies Valencia. These pieces are designed to compose image galleries on different media.
From paper to movement: animations and sound
The proposal transcends the printed format with a animated version carried out in conjunction with Juan GimenoThe presentation included a video in which the elements of the posters came to life, amidst rocket explosions, band music, and the crackling of fire.
This digital adaptation reinforces the presence of the image in screens, networks and bus shelterslinking the language of classic posters with current audiovisual resources to broaden their impact. The campaign includes specific formats for networks and urban supports.
The author and his career
The designer and illustrator Vicent Ramón He trained at the EASD in Alcoy and opened his studio in Bocairent in 2003. He has extensive experience in festive posters and institutional projects in the Valencian Community.
Among his recent works are the Mostra de València 2020, the Great July Fair 2024 and the 2025 Maritime Holy Week, in addition to commissions for the 2022 Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Carnival, the 2022 Burgos Festivals, or the Magdalena from Castellon 2023. He also designed the poster for the Fallas festival in 2015.
In terms of awards, it has received over a hundred design prizes. Among the most notable are... Silver Award at the Ecuador Poster Biennial 2024 and the awards of the Juan Gil-Albert Institute of Culture (2005 and 2010), as well as his first position in the design pool of the GandÃa City Council (2021).
Dissemination and scope of the campaign
The official poster will serve as identifier of the main quotes of the Fallas calendar: it will be present at international tourism fairs, local events, websites and publications, as well as buses and bus shelters.
The Central Fallas Board and the City Council emphasize that the campaign has been designed for multiple media platforms —urban and digital—, with the aim of projecting the image of Valencia and consolidating the role of design as a cultural and promotional tool.
With the presentation at the CCCC and institutional involvement, the new image is ready to accompany the festive cycle: Three posters, one story and a recognizable aesthetic that connects tradition, creativity and the energy that characterizes the Fallas.
