We're not going to repeat what's already been said countless times these past few weeks about what to do these days. Here's Adobe's free suggestion : coloring books and sessions with top artists.
Adobe has made available a series of coloring books by artists like Lisa Congdom and Martina Martian for everyone to print at home so the little ones can have something to color these days. But that's not all; there are also coloring sessions.
We'll start with the downloads you can find here : download Adobe coloring books
When you click on that link, you'll find three download icons in three formats : PDF, PSD, and JPG. You have chapter one, which starts this week, and new chapters will be added next week.
For eight weeks, eight chapters of coloring pages will be available for download, featuring artwork from artists such as Jessica Hische , Lisa Congdon , Adam J. Kurtz , Martina Martian , and Lauren Hom . The links to their Instagram accounts will take you there.
These coloring pages can also be used from a drawing app, although it's best to print them out so you can grab your colored pencils or paints and have a great time with the little ones at home.
Adobe's second free offering is the Adobe Live sessions with these same artists, where you can learn their best tips and tricks for apps like Adobe Fresco. You can find all the sessions at this link: Adobe artist sessions.
Just as the Thyssen Museum has made excellent online art courses available for free, Adobe is joining in by offering free content to help us pass the time during these days of confinement; one on Edward Hopper and another on light and painting.
